A Life in Service

Ramone Crowe, Jr. is a decorated U.S. Navy veteran, Service-Disabled Veteran, and nationally recognized aerospace workforce strategist with more than three decades of leadership driving innovation across the aerospace industry, education, and community development programs. From operational service in the Persian Gulf to shaping national aerospace policy, his career reflects a singular mission: to build a future-ready aerospace workforce by investing in people, access, and opportunity.

As Founder, President & CEO of Aerospace Career Pathways (ACP), Inc., and Board Chair of the Aerospace Career Pathways Foundation (ACPF), Ramone leads the development of scalable workforce ecosystems that connect K–12 students, post-secondary learners, and veterans to high-demand careers in the aerospace industry. His approach integrates industry, education, and community strategic partners to create sustainable talent pipelines that directly address workforce shortages while advancing innovation and competitiveness across the industry.

Ramone's professional foundation was forged over 30 years of distinguished service with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), where he rose through progressively leadership roles that shaped the national aviation landscape. As National Program Manager for Technical Operations, he directed federal policy on navigational aids, runway safety, and the integration of NextGen technology—modernizing the systems that keep American skies safe. As a System Support Center Manager, he led diverse, high-performing technical teams across multiple major airport facilities. His FAA tenure also included service as a certified Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor and Federal Mediator, demonstrating his commitment to inclusive excellence as a cornerstone of organizational success.

Today, Ramone extends that legacy across multiple platforms of impact. As Community Outreach and Public Relations Manager at Detroit's Coleman A. Young Airport, he develops bold strategies to expand aviation business and strengthen the bonds between the airport and the communities it serves. As an Aerospace Consultant with the College of Engineering at Wayne State University, he advises on talent pipeline initiatives that will define the sector's workforce for generations to come. And as Director of the Metro Detroit Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academies, he carries forward a 30-year personal commitment to igniting a passion for aerospace and STEM careers in the hearts of young people who may not yet see themselves in those roles—until he shows them they belong.

His leadership extends to civic and industry organizations, including the Aviation Technician Education Council, the Airport Minority Advisory Council, the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, and the National School Board Association, among others. He serves on the Board of Michigan Virtual Charter Academy and remains actively engaged in mentoring initiatives through 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Ramone Crowe, Jr. is more than a leader in aerospace—he is a builder of bridges: between industry and community, between policy and purpose, between potential and possibility. His story is proof that the most powerful flight paths are the ones created for others.

"

"The future of aerospace will be built by a workforce that is skilled, innovative, and prepared to lead in an ever-evolving industry."
